Robby was super professional and thorough, provided detailed information, didn't try to upsell anything, and worked quickly and efficiently. Best part - my dog was so excited to see him! I've done business with them twice. 1 for my ac unit and the other when my heat stopped working when the temp was almost 0°. They were not only fast to respond and professional but they diagnosed the problem and laid out my options simply and effectively. Turned out I needed the heater replaced. Mike and the team came out the next day to replace it days before the temperature fell below zero. Super grateful for this company and the professionalism they provided. Top notch customer service. 10/10 would recommend.

This is our second time dealing with Wingate. I called to have a furnace inspection (my furnace was over 17 years old) and was shown evidence of a faulty furnace. We were given many options to either repair or replace it, and we decided to replace the furnace. I was pleasantly surprised when Wingate was able to handle the replacement the next day. The installation team showed up on time and completed the job in a very timely manner. Our whole experience from first call to job completion went very well. I highly recommend Wingate for ant HVAC needs.

The moment I spoke with the receptionist I knew I wanted to work with Wingate. The woman was kind and compassionate. She was encouraging that their team would take great care of us and that's exactly what they did. The communication from the entire team was excellent. I appreciated the text I received before every technician arrived and the fact that it had their photo so I knew who was on their way. Ty was the first technician that we worked with and he was wonderful. He walked us through step by step on his process and what to expect from him while he was at our home. The sales rep Michael was informative and he did not feel salesy or push to make the sale. He answered every question that we had about the equipment and the financial aspect as well. My family and I appreciate your team on their kindness, respectfulness and your professionalism. We will continue to recommend your company.

Wingate was quick to arrive even on the holiday weekend when our heat went out during a cold snap. Our service tech, Ty, was so kind and took the time to explain everything that was going on, and went above and beyond his duty to make additional calls for us to try and get our system replaced faster. Not happy with Wingate plumbing. Had a utility sink that needed clearing. Would not drain. Made an appointment with Wingate. The plumber that showed up said he could not snake the utility sink or open pvc pipe below the sink to clear the clog. He said because there was no clean out under the sink he could not. There was a clean out spot in another pipe located near the sink. He said it would probably work here. I agreed to let him try. After snaking the clean out. He found no clog and it did not fix my problem. How ever I was charged 309.00 and still have a utility sink that would not drain. His next suggestion was that I pay for a camera into the main line clean out that would cost over a 1,000. All the other drains in my house work fine, including the floor drain that is about 6 feet from the clogged utility sink. I would not recommend calling Wingate for any clog.

Great experience from the Salesman to installation. The salesman explained everything in detail. Financing was easy. Techs did a great job. Very clean, organized. Went through the complete system with me then again with my husband. Not rushed at all. Overall a great experience from start to finish.

We contacted Wingate for a free roof inspection after we found shingles in our yard following a storm. Emily left us with a great first impression and had Lonny come out to conduct a thorough inspection. Lonny was extremely thorough and ensured nothing was overlooked. He identified several issues with our roof and guided us through the eventual insurance process, making the experience much less stressful with his knowledge and experience. Ultimately our roof has been replaced and looks great!We highly recommend Lonny and Wingate for your roofing needs. He was incredibly easy to work with and always quick to respond to our questions and concerns.If you have concerns about your roof then give Wingate a call!

They were extremely tidy and cleaned up everything as they went. After the system was installed, they explained how everything worked. We woke up to no hot water and water on the floor around the water heater. I called at 8:00 A.M. and scheduled a visit. 15 minutes later the service tech called to let me know he was on the way. Anthony and Aaron showed up about 30 minutes later. Unfortunately I needed a new water heater. Anthony and Aaron showed me my options, we made a decision and the two techs got to work. Five hours later we have hot water! Great company to work with! I definitely recommend Wingate!

I called this morning for my heat pump that was not cooling. An appointment was scheduled for this afternoon, which was really quicker than I expected. The company kept me informed as to when to expect the Technician, Ty Hendricks.Ty arrived within minutes of the expected time. He was clean, well spoken and polite. He immediately put covers on his boots and began checking the unit. Ty didn't mind the many questions I had and answered each without hesitation. I found Ty to be knowledgeable and honest. If he was unsure of the answer to a question he let me know and stated he would get the answer for me.After 40 years in construction myself I am not easily impressed by others in the "Trades", however this young man was impressive.Although I felt the price was a little high for what was done. I will use this company again should the need arise.

Hey Chris just wanted to tell you how AWESOME of job Aaron and Leo did at my house. Aaron did a water heater inspection for me and explained step by step what he was doing and how to look for signs of trouble with my water heater. Leo came out and did a furnace inspection , cleaned my blower wheel out for and did ac unit repair for me. Leo also explained everything to me and suggested that I get a better furnace filter which I did. Just wanted to thank you for getting out to my so quickly and taking care of my needs. Anthony and Robbie was at my home yesterday and I can't say enough about them, both were great and explained every that was going and showed me the cost , which I thought was very reasonable, they cleaned up anything before leaving. Anthony was checking the low water pressure in my home and found the problem, left got the parts and came back and was fixed in a short period. Robbie cleaned and serviced the AC unit and showed me pictures of what he had taken care of. I'm very pleased with Wingate, have used them in the past.

Another pleasant and successful service by Wingate. I'll always call them first! Our a/c started blowing warm during the hottest days of the year. I was afraid no one would be able to fit us in but they were out ASAP.Ty and Max were phenomenal - courteous, thorough, professional, and every other adjective you want service people to be! I first used Wingate to help us with our cooling system installed by another company. They were knowledgeable and the service was quick. We saw they also did roofing so we asked for an estimate. Aaron did the estimate that week and thought we might be able to get insurance to cover our very old roof. Aaron worked with our insurance company and to my surprise, we were able to get most of the work covered. Wingate installed our beautiful new roof, gutters and gutter guards, and we are very happy with the work. They found rotted boards and some other hiccups along the way and again, Aaron worked with the insurance company to get it covered. The work was completed in a timely manner and we were very satisfied from estimate through clean-up of the job. I didn't like the way one of the down spouts had been set to drain and they were out the next week to fix it to the way I wanted it. I could not recommend this company more highly.

Ty H. Came out today to address a cooling issue on our very old system. He did an excellent job explaining what was going on and what types of repairs we would be looking at. With the amount of repairs we are looking at, and the remaining life expectancy of our system, we decided to get a quote for a replacement system and he got us scheduled for an estimate on Monday. Don’t compromise your plumbing with calling the other guy!!! Call Wingate to ensure you get the best service. Nothing a Friday afternoon when second shift arrives to find out we have no water pressure as the pump has failed. We scramble to locate a pump, Wingate dispatched a technician out, upon arriving they advised 1 of 2 options. 1. Replace the pump which will cost x or let’s start with the pressure switch and save you money. Austin referred us to Wingate after our A/C stopped working hours before we had a wedding and the day before we left for vacation. Ty, our technician, was out here within a few hours, very patient and explained everything. Matt A from Wingate came to my home to conduct a free inspection due to my roof leaking. Matt came over immediately, inspected the interior and exterior and assisted me in getting my insurance involved. Matt met the adjuster on site and represented me throughout the entire process. Matt worked directly with insurance to ensure proper coverage, and even ensured all code requirements were met. On the day of install, Matt was on site managing the job, and even got my entire house new decking and also worked with my insurance to get that covered. Matt was prompt on any questions I had and was available any time I needed him. After the install was complete, Matt did a quality check of the entire job site to make sure everything was cleaned up and every nail was cleaned up. Highly recommend Matt and this company for a 5 star experience!

Our Service Technician, Robby Dolph, was very thorough and knowledgeable. He diagnosed and explained to us the problem with our air conditioning system. Robby summoned a Field Supervisor, Aaron, who explained to my wife and I our options in a manner which made us feel confident we called the right company. An installation team was summoned at our request. Whenever we contract with any company to do work at our home, the first thing I look for is whether or not they sent over a bunch of hoodlums. Wingate sent out an install team, Isaac and Seth, who I determined to be fine, competent, and conscientious men. The sort of people we felt confident would do the job properly. Isaac and Seth fixed us up same day and our home feels great. I will recommend Wingate Heating and Cooling to all our family and friends.

After I found a leak in my garage, Wingate sent Mark out to do an inspection. He found the leak and some other storm damage, he was very helpful with the entire process, excellent communication, answered any questions that I had. My roof was was done on schedule with no problems. The crew working was great, everything around my house was protected, and the clean up after was great. Mark walked around after they were done and made sure everything was in place, no damage was done and all of the nails were out of the yard. I am very pleased with the whole process.

Our roof had some severe wind damage and needed a total replacement. After a brief battle with insurance, Lonny from Wingate got us a brand new roof for the price of our deductible. We had a last minute AC issue on the hottest day of the year. We had Wingate out to get a second opinion on what we were told was a broken AC unit. Our technician, Ty, quickly identified that was a lose wire that was overlooked by the first company. He quickly fixed the problem.He also did a comprehensive inspection of our furnace and found a separate issue that we appreciated.Ty was fantastic and we hope to work with Wingate again in the future.

Wingate Mechanical has never failed me. They are my first call every time I have an issue. The start of February 2024, cold weather, our furnace quit working around 9pm at night. We have a family of six including young children. A phone call was made, and Wingate had a technician out at our house within an hour. Ty H. arrived and diagnosed the problem and wow our furnace was no good. He made a couple calls and was able to get Project Manager Aaron Faughn out to my house the next day to discuss options. Aaron listened to our needs and was knowledgeable and explained the process clearly. He had an install team at the house the next day to get new furnace installed and working so we had heat. Seth N. and Justin E. did a fantastic job installing the furnace and getting our heat back working. They explained everything very well. I am always very pleased with Wingate Mechanical, and they are always my first call!!!

Representative Aaron Faughn stopped by my house to do an assessment on the water heater. We had noticed several problematic areas within the space of the heater and most notably water leaking from underneath which showed the end of lifespan for this device . Upon completion of inspection he educated myself on the hazards of not changing out the water heater in a timely manner as well as the monetary costs that could be incurred. We agreed to change it out and have another Wingate technician install the new device. The tech was very professional during the entire install process and educated me as well as to what some of the items on the water heater had written on it. I am very pleased in the services I received from Wingate. Highly recommend for anyone that needs assistant on what they offer within the home realm.

The team was incredibly nice and friendly. I appreciate that they are so timely and would call/text ahead of time to let you know exactly who and when they are coming. I am clueless on HVACs but the team would patiently explain everything they could to me and I greatly appreciated it. Wonderful experience with Wingate and Aaron Faughn, one of their project managers. While completing a bathroom reno for a customer, we were stalled by the fact we needed a multi shutoff valve replacement. Aaron responded immediately and had a tech out the same day; the work was completed two days later putting us right back on schedule. In addition, from one small business to another, all parties handled themselves expertly, and the repair was extremely cost effective. Following a storm that impacted neighbors we thought it best to have our roof inspected and contacted Wingate. Matt Alexander came to our home and did find damage. We contacted our insurance company who confirmed the damage that Matt found. Matt was very helpful throughout the entire process with the insurance company. Once we had the OK from the insurance company Matt helped us through the process of selecting materials and assisted with interaction of the scheduling through Wingate. Emily from Wingate along with Matt are were great communicators. Both are responsive to our calls and give us answers to questions. On the day prior to the scheduled install, Matt set up protective netting around the house. On the day of install additional ground covering around the house was installed by the crew. Matt was on-site throughout the day during the install and interacted with the crew. After install, prior to the crew leaving, Matt reviewed the project, removed the protective netting he installed and the hard working install crew cleaned up the yard and removed their ground covering. The next day, Matt came back to pick up some left over materials, checked out the install from the ground and the roof top. Emily sent us the warranty information and took care of filing the paperwork with our insurance company. Our thanks to everyone involved.

I highly recommend Wingate. We had been having issues with our Furnace for a while and the guys we kept calling each time the issue occurred was unable to tell us what was wrong. My husband called this company, Wingate and things changed. They came over to inspect the furnace and Robby did a thorough inspection. He was able to tell me things that needed to be repaired and things where maintenance work was needed. After looking at my options for repairs and maintenance, I decided a new furnace was needed. We then met with Aaron to discuss specifics. Aaron was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk with. Once we decided on specifics we had an appt to install within less than a week. The guys were very good at communicating when they would arrive and they were on time. The install should have taken a couple of hours but they were done in 2 hours. We were so satisfied with the service provided we signed up for their membership. We have since had a pluming inspection and a roofing inspection. Each time we have had excellent service with very knowledge and professional people.

I am extremely impressed with the service I received from Wingate Heating, Cooling and Plumbing. Technician Ty Hendricks was dispatched to resolve my furnace issue on one of the coldest days we have had this season. He was extraordinarily pleasant and professional. I received a call from the Wingate office within minutes of requesting a quote via Angie's List to set my appointment time. It was a great relief to be assured that a tech would be sent that very day. A text message came through with a picture of Ty and I received a voicemail message from the technician advising me of his ETA. While the tech was in my home I also received a call from Chris the owner of Wingate. Ty checked out the furnace and before making any repairs brought me pictures from his inspection and explained what I was looking at. My furnace is original to my condo and it needed a couple of parts to operate efficiently. Ty explained my options clearly and without pressure and then was able to make the repairs during that same visit. He also provided information regarding a program that Wingate offers at a very reasonable cost which will include two visits a year and discounts on service. The program also gives me priority in the scheduling queue. The service visit cost was also reasonable and when it was all said and done my charge for the day was less than $700 which included the service visit as well as the program and the parts and labor involved. I cannot think Wingate enough for the way they run their business. As well their technician Ty Hendricks is to be commended. My furnace was up and running within just a few hours of my quote request. My condo really never had the opportunity to get cold before the furnace had been inspected and repaired. I highly recommend Wingate Heating, Cooling and Plumbing should you require service.

I reached Wingate after several other companies were unable to help us today or even within the next week. One place even told us they weren’t even taking on new customers! The gentleman who answered the phone was positive, upbeat, professional and very helpful. He was able to get a tech out for our issue in about an hour. The technician (Adam) came up with an innovative solution to our problem and saved me a ton of money. Wingate Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Roofing were awesome! They were respectful and professional in replacing my furnace's heat exchanger. Not only did they replace it, they made sure my gas furnace is running more efficiently by adding air duct work as performed by Ty, Robby and Johnny. They did a fantastic job! Most of all, they cleaned up after themselves and kindly answered all my questions. Called Wingate at 0900 this morning due to AC going out last night. The technician, Alex called me around 12:15 to let me know he would be at my house shortly to take a look at my system. From start to finish we could not have been more impressed with Wingate! We recently purchased a home and knew we were on borrowed time with our a/c and furnace system. When we went to use our a/c system and it didn’t work we made the call to Wingate. They were able to have our technician, Ty, come out within an hour. Ty was awesome and thorough. He made sure to have a complete understanding of our system and identify the problem areas. When the repairs seemed too costly and not worth the investment, he immediately connected us with Aaron (the sales representative) to meet with us and go over our options. When we met with Aaron, he walked through our house to make sure he had a clear picture of our system prior to explaining our options. The new system packages had several options and opportunities to customize our system and allowed us to meet our price point with ease.The install technician was Justin and team (we were not home so I apologize for not naming everyone who worked so hard to install). I recently had Wingate out to my house for a furnace check-up as part of their annual Maintenance Plan. (the plan is only $9.99 a month and includes a ton of great incentives) Prior to the appointment, I received multiple reminders with detailed information, including a picture of who was going to be at my home. Alex called to let me know he was about 10 minutes out, asking if the timing was still convenient for me ... and even asked about any pets to be aware of, or young children who may be napping! Extremely thoughtful. When he arrived he had a new trainee with him, Robbie. They were both exceedingly professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. They performed the furnace inspection in a very timely manner and reviewed every possible next step with me regarding maintenance, cleaning and part-replacement options ... with no high pressure. I’ve used Wingate before and have always been satisfied with their service. I have an older air conditioner and they come out once a season to check it out and have never pushed me to get a new one. Our air conditioner stopped cooling the other night and they were quick to call back. They came out early the next morning and found it neede a capacitor. They replaced it and we were back in business. Great job and friendly service.They came back a few years later and replaced our air conditioner, they did a great job and were very reliable. Came on time and had it done in 4-5 hours. Justin and Justin did a great job.

Our AC went out on a very hot summer day, and Wingate responded quickly to our inquiry that morning.By the afternoon, Ty was at our house for the repair. He walked us through the issues and estimates for repair. Given the age of our HVAC system, we also asked for quotes to have it replaced. Aaron was fantastic. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable, providing us with the information we needed to make an informed decision. Shortly thereafter, Nate and Justin were out to replace both the AC and furnace. I moved into a new condo back in the Fall and finally had time to call for service for the Spring/Summer timing. Many individuals in my condo building use this company. I was originally considering using my own prior company that had installed my new system in my old condo. But since so many of my new neighbors used Wingate, I thought it would be a good idea to use a company that is already knowledgeable of our building.I’m VERY pleased with the Customer Service with Wingate today. Ty and his apprentice, Robby, were very helpful in providing answers to all of my questions. First time customer after calling around and trying to find someone to come out in a reasonable time frame to check/clean our AC. Impressed by the communication once I made the appointment - text, email - confirming the appointment, reminder the day before, call the day of - all great communication.Our technician, Dakota, was fantastic! She was very thorough in her inspection both inside and out, documented the entire inspection in pictures (before and after) and walked me through everything before signing off. She also got me signed up for their bi-annual membership program for HVAC system checks. A great value not just for the cost of the Service, but also provides access to 24/7 service if something goes out. Had never heard of Daikin but Aaron challenged me to simply compare them with one of the “big name” companies. I was impressed. The system was installed just two days ago and I have high expectations but if it works half as efficiently as the installers did I shouldn’t be disappointed.The company had been professional and responsive every step of the way…especially since I can be kind of picky when it comes to spending this kind of money. It looks like everything will pay back huge dividends in the long run.Like I said, too early to give too much feedback on the product other than it looks clean and “top of the line”. Today, Dakota and Chris came out for routine AC maintenance, and I continue to be very happy with the service. First, it was great to see a woman in this industry. We had a current HVAC system (furnace/AC) replaced as well as a new ductless mini-split system added in another part of the house. The removal of the old system and the installation of the new happened over a 3-day period, during which the installation team was always on-time, professional, and great about explaining what was happening at each stage of the process. The team encountered some unexpected challenges, but they let us know if anything had to be changed from the original time/equipment estimates and gave us options. Everyone on their team was professional, personable and ready to provide a solution that fit our needs. The technicians that came out to do the installation were knowledgeable and so polite. I was struggling with only having about 3-5 minutes of hot water at my house. Wingate Heating and Cooling replaced my low efficiency water heat with a new high efficiency one. We ultimately decided to replace vs repair and Aaron was great to work with and gave us many options to choose from, making sure we understood all of the options and answered our questions. The next day the installation team came out and Chad, Al and Dillon were all great as well. Respectful, knowledgeable and thorough. They were here for a 12 hour shift and didn't leave until we had a warm house and understood the new equipment. We would definitely recommend them for both service and replacement. We are very happy with them!

I wasn't an existing Wingate customer previously, but I am now! I made an "emergency" no heat call on a Saturday morning (after waiting for a company with which I had a 20 year customer relationship for over 3.5 hours). I received a call from Alex, one of the technicians, in very short order with an approximate appointment time for the same day. Alex arrived early (with my permission) and was incredibly personable, professional and extremely hardworking. He made sure to explain everything in detail and showed me everything that was causing the issues. He asked me several times if I had additional questions or concerns. Alex absolutely went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable not only with the work being done, but with the temperature of my home until the job could be completed. The entire team at Wingate was awesome! 100% recommended!

I used Wingate to replace my water heater. I like that they allowed me to send pictures of my current water heater to give me my estimate instead of sending somebody in person to do an estimate. I believe this made the process much easier and their plumber only had to come to my house once to complete the water heater install. They emailed me my estimate and then we schedule the time to get the water heater installed. Which they were able to do the same day. Wingate was very professional and did a great job. I definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future.

My furnace went out recently and I contacted Wingate for a quote. They provided information on types of available equipment suitable for my house. They set up an installation for the next day-which I appreciated as the weather was extremely cold. The gentlemen arrived early as scheduled and worked throughout the day nonstop. Installation was completed and guidelines concerning the furnace were explained. The day after installation a follow up was done to review and explain setting of new thermostat.Definitely professional and caring people and would recommend to everyone.
